The Program for Working with Children with Special Needs and Their Families is aimed at supporting community families facing challenging life circumstances. The program includes children aged 2 to 18.
Project Description:
Participants receive assistance with resolving everyday and social problems. Parents and children attend individual consultations where issues specific to each family are identified. These consultations are conducted by volunteer specialists and students from relevant universities in Odessa. The project also includes workshops and field events.
Project Goals:
- Socialization of children with developmental disabilities.
- Integration of children with special needs into community life.
- Improvement of the quality of life for participating families.
- Social and psychological support for the parents of project participants.
- Enhancement of the living conditions of participating families.
Volunteer Roles:
- Conducting consultations for project participants.
- Identifying specific issues for each individual family.
- Organizing and leading workshops and field events.
- Recruiting new volunteers for the project.
