Positive Dialogues
A new project aims to improve psychological well-being.
The initiative, named "Friendly Support Group," was launched by volunteer Maria Treskunova.
The idea is to enhance mental well-being through communication, helping people cope with depression and overcome bad moods.
The project is led by psychologist Evgeniy Dupliakin, who provides psychological guidance.
The first meeting gathered 22 participants, including youth and family club leaders. All expressed their willingness to act as conversational partners, providing positive communication to those in need.
Psychologist Evgeniy Dupliakin conducted the first session of a series of meetings on basic psychology. The session discussed communication algorithms, how to avoid absorbing negative emotions during conversations, and how to benefit the interlocutor. The session provided theoretical knowledge and practical skills, including a training exercise that simulated various communication scenarios.
This week, an online seminar titled "Loss and Grieving" was held as part of the project. The psychologist covered various aspects of the topic, accompanied by slides.
Future meetings and seminars will also address popular psychology topics.
