Youth Festival in Chișinău
The Youth Festival proved to be an excellent platform for exchanging experiences, knowledge, and inspiration among young people from across the country.
On August 17th, volunteers from the Republican Volunteer Center (RVC) participated in the sixth edition of the Youth Festival, organized by the National Youth Council of Moldova (CNTM). Held in the heart of Chișinău, on Veronica Micle and Vlaicu Pârcălab streets, the event gathered hundreds of young people from various regions, turning the day into a true celebration of opportunities, creativity, and new connections.
At the festival, our team actively engaged with youth, highlighting the diverse opportunities for personal and professional growth through volunteering. We distributed brochures celebrating RVC's 10th anniversary, along with stickers and small souvenirs as mementos. The RVC volunteers aimed to draw attention to volunteering as an essential tool for self-realization and social development.
The festival was divided into four thematic zones, each offering participants unique opportunities. In the democracy zone, discussions centered around civic engagement and the importance of youth participation in decision-making processes. The informal education zone hosted workshops and training sessions focused on developing leadership, communication, and project management skills. The cultural zone became a hub for creative expression, where young people could participate in musical and artistic activities.
Particular attention was given to international experiences: young people from different countries shared their perspectives on global challenges and opportunities facing today's youth. The festival concluded with a vibrant concert featuring local artists, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of unity and inspiration.
We extend our gratitude to everyone who visited our stand and showed interest in volunteering. Together, we are shaping a future full of opportunities and achievements, where every young person can contribute to social development.
The Youth Festival 2024 was organized in honor of International Youth Day, celebrated annually on August 12th, and served as an outstanding platform for sharing experiences, knowledge, and inspiration among young people from across the country.
