Volunteer School for AJT
In the fall, volunteers held the "Volunteer School for Teenagers" course, which became a true starting point for the youth of AJT.
In October-November, our center hosted the "Volunteer School for Teenagers" course, where participants from AJT, eager to embark on the path of professional volunteering, took part. The participants learned about important aspects of volunteer work and explored different areas, as well as the specifics of working with vulnerable groups.
In each session, the needs of the community and the opportunities volunteers have to address them were discussed.
In addition to learning theory, the participants gained practical skills through the "School of Repairs" project. They learned how to restore furniture, which will enable them to offer real help to the members of our community in the future.
Participation in the "Volunteer School" became an important step toward forming responsible and active citizens.
