Volunteer of the Year Award
Every year in Yekaterinburg, the Volunteer of the Year is selected.
One of the important events for the volunteer center in Yekaterinburg is the "Volunteer of the Year" ceremony, which serves to honor the best volunteers actively involved in community life. This year, the ceremony was attended by numerous guests, who thereby expressed their respect to those whose selfless assistance helps improve the lives of needy community members, popularize Jewish culture, and inform the city community about various initiatives.
To ensure that the ceremony was held at the appropriate level, extensive preparation was required. For a month, all foundation staff, guardians, and employees of volunteer centers from other cities and countries actively interacted with each other, providing the necessary support in preparing for the event.
At the end of the ceremony, 10 people received awards, recognized as the best volunteers in eight nominations: "Help on Wheels," "Culture Volunteers," "Event Volunteers," "Support of the Year," "Hope for Tomorrow," "Grandparents' Joy," "Ambassador of the Year," and "Volunteer of the Year." The winners were determined through a three-stage voting process, and each of them was able to enjoy their moment of glory, standing on stage in front of dozens of people.
A huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers for their selfless efforts to make our world a better place!
