Our dedicated volunteers, with the support of the Jewish Community of Moldova, organized a memorial trip to the city of Dubossary, where a rally was held in memory of the victims of fascism. This important event was organized for the elderly clients of Hesed and young people from AJT Tiraspol. This rally was not only an act of respect for the memory of the deceased but also an opportunity to draw public attention to this tragedy.

The event featured speeches by the chairman of the Dubossary Jewish Community, Oziyas Ukhteyn, and representatives of the local government administration, who talked about the horrifying events that occurred in the Dubossary ghetto. After the memorial rally, all those present laid flowers to honor the memory of the Holocaust victims.

We must not forget the terrible events that took place in the Dubossary ghetto. Jewish men, women, and children from different cities were concentrated here and subjected to mass shootings. They all became victims of the ruthless fascist regime.

The Holocaust remains one of the darkest chapters in fascism. Millions of innocent people perished solely because of their nationality. We must not forget this horrifying page of history and always remain vigilant to prevent such horrors in the future. We must pass on the memory and lessons of the past to future generations so that they know how important it is to fight for justice and humanity in the world.
