Preparation and Celebration of Rosh Hashanah
Volunteers from the "Origins of Mercy" project, as part of the "Cooking Together" project, baked teiglach for the holiday!
On September 15, volunteers from the "Origins of Mercy" project in the city of Beltsy began preparations for the arrival of the New Year 5784 in the Jewish calendar!
As part of the "Cooking Together" project, volunteers from the "Origins of Mercy" initiated the preparation of teiglach (honey cookies) for the holiday of Rosh Hashanah. They gathered together with the beneficiaries of the Day Center and created this delicious and symbolic dessert. In addition to teiglach, they also prepared sweet tsimmes and apple rosettes.
After preparing these delicious treats, they set up a festive table and joyfully celebrated the arrival of Rosh Hashanah. This event became a symbol of unity and friendship, as well as a preparation for the new year in the company of loved ones.
