A birthday is a wonderful celebration, and at every age, it marks a new milestone on life's journey. This time, honorary member of the Jewish community in Khabarovsk, Kosach Zhanna Abramovna, celebrated her 94th birthday. The volunteers prepared wonderful gifts for her.

Zhanna Abramovna was one of the first to join the community at its inception, and for many years, she has actively participated in various events. Her complex yet remarkable life story serves as an example for the younger generation, with whom Zhanna Abramovna shares her experience and incredible wisdom. As a former child prisoner of the Ghetto, Zhanna Abramovna regularly participates in Holocaust Remembrance Week. Her memories are invaluable for preserving the memory of the people and preventing such horrific events in the future. At the age of 94, Zhanna Abramovna leads an active lifestyle and continues to conquer new heights on her life's journey.

On this day, the volunteers prepared wonderful gifts for the beloved birthday celebrant: they made Shabbat candlesticks from gypsum, decorated by the community's teenagers. Additionally, the volunteers grew a flower that will take a worthy place on the hostess's windowsill. But the greatest gift was the attention and heartfelt warmth, without which no birthday can do!
