It was our first time participating in this event.

We held a campaign called "Golden Needle", during which 25 pillows were sewn for the members of the community that needed these pillows the most. 8 people took part in the action.

Thanks to our partners, the Odema factory for the synthetic winterizer waste and volunteers Kasyanskaya Lyubov and Komova Tatyana for the fabric. Thanks to their kind hearts, we were able to bring our idea to life.

Galina Topolchan and Tatyana Komova were engaged in cutting future pillows, Tatyana Karasikova and Maria Zaedinova sewed covers from blanks of fabric, and the rest filled the pillows with padding polyester. To do this, we needed to sort out the synthetic winterizer, separate it from the remnants of the fabric and grind it before filling the pillows. The work went with a bang, and the mountain of pillows grew on our own eyes!

Also on this day, an action called "Clean House" took place, during which the territory was cleaned near the Synagogue and the Jewish Center in the city of Tiraspol.

The borders were whitewashed and the fence around the center was painted! Participants of AJT Tiraspol, clients of Hesed and members of the Community of Tiraspol took care of the improvement of the territory of our Jewish Center. 20 people took part in the action.

Music, good mood and warm spring weather accompanied the Day of Good Deeds, which was wonderful.

We are happy to support the Volunteer Center RVC initiative and plan to participate in Good Deeds Day every year!
