As part of the preparations for Hanukkah, our volunteers traditionally organize a variety of engaging activities for their beneficiaries. Hanukkah 5785 was no exception. This year, members of our community had the opportunity to attend a workshop and enjoy time with friends.

During Hanukkah week, volunteers from the RVC Volunteer Center hosted a creative workshop for the older generation. Participants reminisced about the traditions of this wonderful holiday, shared doughnut recipes, and decorated sufganiyot prepared by the volunteers. Everyone enjoyed the warm and friendly atmosphere and engaging conversations.

Another event took place on Saturday at the synagogue. Volunteers prepared festive tables filled with delicious treats. Additionally, younger volunteers from the "From Heart to Heart" project created beautiful cards and drawings for elderly beneficiaries, which were later presented to them. Guests also enjoyed an exciting quiz, and the evening ended with cheerful songs and pleasant conversations.
