Ecological Campaign Ahead of Passover
On April 21, 2024, as part of the "Jewish Revival" project, we organized and carried out a volunteer campaign to improve the environment.
In the framework of the "Jewish Revival" project and ahead of the joyous Passover holiday, volunteers from our center conducted a wonderful ecological campaign to green our garden. The event was attended not only by volunteers but also by families with children and employees of the city greening organization to ensure the legality of the seedlings in accordance with city regulations.
The task of greening requires attention and certain skills, which anyone interested can learn. The volunteers quickly grasped the rules for planting seedlings and eagerly got to work. They dug the soil, made beds, planted trees and shrubs, as well as vibrant spring flowers. The collective efforts yielded a remarkable result: the once barren land was covered with bright and lush vegetation.
After the active work, the participants were in for a pleasant surprise. They were invited to a set table to celebrate Passover together. Community program leader V.V. Shulman spoke about the traditions and customs of the holiday. Following this, everyone gathered around the table to view the Seder plate and began the festive meal. The event concluded beautifully with the group singing wonderful, heartfelt songs.
We thank everyone who participated in the campaign! While we still have much work to do to green our garden, we have taken the first step and will continue moving forward together!
