Every year, when the celebration of May 9 comes, our volunteers usually prepare for a special kind of project to congratulate people involved. This time it was gifts and hand made cards for our honorary veterans and prisoners of the ghetto.
This time, our team of teenagers from the AJT club decided to amaze everyone with their creative approach. They created bright and colorful postcards and also learned poems to convey their most sincere wishes.
They were supported by the youth from Hillel and Moishe House, as well as many dedicated volunteers who helped us collect packages and deliver special sets of surprises and gifts.
We spent several days visiting our grandparents to congratulate them and give them the attention they deserve. It was wonderful to see their faces glowing with joy! Indeed, for them, the celebration of May 9th is a particularly important event, and we were happy to bring them joy and a smile on this special day.
