Action "Joy to every home" in Samara
Volunteers brought a festive mood to children and the elderly of the community for the Purim holiday.
The Volunteer Center organized the annual action "Joy in every home", in which volunteers brought a festive mood to the elderly and children of the community for Purim.
Purim is one of the most important Jewish holidays, which is celebrated in memory of the salvation of the Jewish people from destruction in Persia.
In order to help the members of the community that are in need on the eve of the holiday, with the support of the Hesed Charitable Foundation and Rabbi Alexander Goldenshersh, the volunteers of the Mitzvah Center prepared and delivered more than 40 hot meals from the kosher cafe "Our Meeting Place".
The action "Joy to every home" is of great importance, as it is aimed at helping people in need. Thanks to volunteers from the Mitzvah Center, many elderly people and children in the community were able to receive not only a hot meal, but also a sense of care and attention to their needs. Such charitable actions help to strengthen ties in the community and give joy and support to those who feel loneliness and difficulties in life.
