A Walk in the Dendrological Park
Elderly residents of Tiraspol and Bender met for a joint walk!
It was an opportunity to connect with nature and facilitate interaction between the younger and older generations. Of course, we couldn't pass up this event without photos from our volunteers. The trip brought many new impressions and discoveries because our Dendrological Park houses plants of incredible beauty from all corners of the world.
The albicia, black walnut, pomegranates, paradise apples, and even cacti particularly impressed us—plants that are not typical for our region but thrive in our land. This year, for the first time, a lavender field blossomed in the Dendrological Park. It's still young and not very fluffy, but its fragrance is simply indescribable and fills the entire park.
Our participants were also amazed by the vast variety of coniferous trees. The aromatherapy was a success! Lavender and coniferous plants are very beneficial for strengthening the immune system.
We are proud that our wards were able to enjoy this trip and get acquainted with the wonders of nature.
