Three Nuts for Hesed
A new fundraising project has been launched at the volunteer center in Almaty
The new fundraising project of the Almaty Volunteer Center, “Three Nuts for Hesed,” has become a wonderful opportunity to expand the range of good deeds for seriously ill and elderly clients of the Hesed. As part of the new project, additional funds will be raised to cover extra hours of patronage care, and the name fully reflects its essence.
The three nuts symbolize three services that active community members can provide to clients within their professional activities, with the proceeds then directed to the project’s fund. Invitations to participate in the project are delivered by our honorary “dvarim postmen” along with the project’s main symbol, three golden nuts. In this way, participants contribute to charitable support, helping to maintain essential social programs of the Hesed even in times of crisis.
We wish the new project a long life and firmly believe in the magical power of the three golden nuts. There is no doubt that there is always room in our lives for selfless help and compassion, and that among the members of our community there are many people ready to support those in need. And could it be otherwise in a world where all Jews are responsible for one another?
