The "Healthy Vitamin Box" project was created to provide a balanced diet rich in vitamins for low-income elderly members of the community and at-risk families.
Project Description:
As part of the project, beneficiaries receive fresh vegetables and fruits, grains, and other food products once a month. The project is supported by local producers who provide food in exchange for volunteer assistance. Volunteers assemble food packages, with 60% of the contents consisting of fresh fruits and vegetables. Additionally, once a month, participants have meetings with a nutritionist and receive recipes for preparing meals using seasonal products.
