The "Healthy Vitamin Box" project

Healthy Vitamin Box is a social volunteer project aimed at assisting low-income elderly and at-risk families within the community.

The "Healthy Vitamin Box" project was created to provide a balanced diet rich in vitamins for low-income elderly members of the community and at-risk families.

Project Description:

As part of the project, beneficiaries receive fresh vegetables and fruits, grains, and other food products once a month. The project is supported by local producers who provide food in exchange for volunteer assistance. Volunteers assemble food packages, with 60% of the contents consisting of fresh fruits and vegetables. Additionally, once a month, participants have meetings with a nutritionist and receive recipes for preparing meals using seasonal products.

Project Goals:

  • Provide food support to at-risk community members
  • Ensure a healthy and nutritious diet for participants
  • Improve the health of project participants
  • Educate participants on the principles of healthy eating
  • Preserve and share healthy recipes

Role of Volunteers:

  • Identifying and recruiting participants for the project
  • Developing partnerships with project supporters
  • Organizing and conducting events within the project
  • Disseminating information about the project through all available channels
  • Assembling and delivering food packages

Project Results:

  • 12 volunteers involved in the project
  • Food support for at-risk community members
  • Development of a healthy and nutritious diet for participants
  • Improved health of participants through a vitamin-rich diet
