Project “Circle of Kindness”
The project is aimed at supporting elderly people and creating an atmosphere of mutual assistance in our Community
In Tiraspol, the wonderful project “Circle of Kindness” continues its work, designed to help elderly people solve problems with clothing and household items thanks to those community members who seek to get rid of things they no longer need. Items are brought to Hesed, where they are carefully sorted by volunteers, and those in need can then find what they require. The project makes it possible to receive clothing, shoes, or household items as a gift.
Although the main goal of the project is to provide for those who find themselves in difficult situations, at the same time it addresses a number of other issues: it gives things a “second life,” helps save resources, and prevents the environment from being cluttered with old belongings. In addition, the project helps unite community members around a common goal — helping others.
It is no secret that Transnistria is currently going through difficult times, and the older generation suffers the most. In this regard, such gestures acquire special value, allowing them to receive necessary household items free of charge. But even more important are the warmth and care that, together with these items, enter the homes of those in need. Their value is hard to overestimate and impossible to measure in any equivalent!
We believe that kindness returns, and we thank everyone who takes part in our project! You are setting in motion a cycle of goodness, and it will certainly come back to you a hundredfold!
