Open Kitchen

Socializing children from the community whose families are in difficult life situations

The "Open Kitchen" project, aimed at socializing children from families facing difficult life circumstances, is gaining momentum. On July 11, the third meeting of the project took place, where children aged 9 to 13 gathered to add simple and tasty recipes to their collection.

This time, 13 participants, eager to acquire culinary knowledge from experienced chef Oksana Ilyina, gathered in the kitchen. For many of the children, the project has also become an opportunity to make new acquaintances and friends. This time, they felt at home and happily communicated with each other.

However, the main focus was on culinary matters. Under Oksana's guidance, the young chefs prepared a wonderful three-course meal. The menu included gazpacho, bruschettas with smoked chicken, and a salad with corn, peppers, radishes, and a vegetable dressing. The aromas emanating from our kitchen were enticing and whetted the appetite.

At the end of the master class, the participants enjoyed a shared meal where everyone could taste the dish they had personally helped create! Everyone delighted in the food and shared their impressions, while also making plans for new culinary conquests! We wish the project participants great success in mastering the challenging culinary arts and thank the organizers for a wonderful master class!
