Volunteer Call Center Seminar
On July 10-11, a seminar was held in Chisinau facilitated by mentors from Israel!
Volunteering is not just about helping others; it's about striving to make the world a better place. Each volunteer, by dedicating their time and efforts, aims to create a kinder and more patient world. Caring for the elderly is particularly important, as they require more support and attention than others. One of RVC's main missions is to create a society where every person feels valued and needed.
Volunteer work requires not only kindness and willingness to help but also professional growth. Every volunteer needs professional support and quality education to effectively meet their tasks and continually develop their skills.
Recently, a two-day seminar was held in Chisinau for volunteers of the "Call Center" project. Fifteen participants from Chisinau gained essential knowledge on handling phone calls with elderly clients, people with various disabilities, and age-related illnesses. The seminar brought together volunteers, coordinators, and supervisors from Moldova and Ukraine, led by experienced specialists in social and psychological work, Oksana Bozhenko and Olga Shteyman.
The gathering of individuals working towards a common goal in different countries and cities facilitated the establishment of strong working contacts and friendly relationships. These two days were filled with interesting events and information delivery formats. Interactive lectures allowed each participant to receive immediate answers to their questions.
Based on feedback from participants, it became evident that the knowledge gained will be applied both in volunteer activities and in daily life. The team and participants of the "Call Center" project express gratitude to the seminar organizers and strive to apply the acquired intercultural experience in their work.
Volunteering is a path to a better future, and professional development is an integral part of this path. By continuing to grow and learn, volunteers can provide even more significant assistance to those in need.
