Volunteer 2.0 – Seminar for Volunteers
The seminar brought together 30 volunteers from Chișinău, ready not only to help but also to better understand older generations.
Volunteering is not just about providing help—it is also about listening, understanding, learning, sharing experiences, and creating a space where everyone feels valued. With this approach, RVC continues to develop its work with elderly people through the “Origins of Mercy” program.
On November 2, we held the Volunteer 2.0 training seminar, an important step toward more conscious, attentive, and compassionate volunteering.
The seminar included 30 volunteers from Chișinău, all committed not only to helping others but also to understanding the older generation better. The program combined theoretical sessions, practical exercises, and live discussions with specialists who shared their professional insights and experiences.

During practical exercises, volunteers learned to interact effectively, discussed real-life situations, shared personal impressions, and explored volunteering not as an obligation but as a dialogue between equals.
The Volunteer 2.0 seminar became a key step in developing a renewed approach to volunteering—one based on respect, attentiveness, empathy, and understanding the value of elderly people in our lives.
We sincerely thank all participants for their willingness to learn, grow, and do good not superficially, but with warmth and purpose.
