Unique Creations
In March, as part of the “Crafty Hands” project, volunteers held two workshops on decorating plaster hamsas
The elderly members of our community greatly enjoy creative workshops, and in March, the volunteers of our center delighted them with two wonderful sessions as part of the popular “Crafty Hands” project. The workshops focused on decorating plaster hamsas — a Jewish symbol representing protection.

Although this meticulous work required special attention to detail, participants happily immersed themselves in the creative process. Each person was able to express their imagination and individuality, resulting in truly unique and diverse creations. After the workshop, our clients took home a beautiful “Hand of Miriam” — a meaningful symbol in Jewish tradition.

These vibrant amulets, made from pre-prepared plaster bases by the volunteers, will serve as powerful protective charms in the homes of our clients. In addition, the accessory will serve as a reminder of a wonderful day filled with vivid impressions, warm conversations, and joy. We thank the volunteers for organizing these creative workshops, and the participants for their enthusiasm and eagerness to learn something new!
