This year, the Volunteer Center Volunteer Community, as always, actively prepared for the celebration of Purim! The preparation took several weeks, during which the volunteers joined forces to delight guests with an unforgettable holiday.

First, an exciting program was created and a suitable venue was found for the event. Then, the necessary funds were raised. Special attention was given to the creative part – rehearsals for the Purimshpil, preparation of fun games, songs, and dances.

Volunteers also took part in preparing the festive table: they purchased ingredients and made traditional and beloved dishes (hamantaschen, hummus, forshmak, chicken liver rolls, beet salad, and stuffed eggs). In addition, volunteers helped set the tables before the event and cheerfully cleaned up the space after the celebration ended.

We thank everyone who participated in preparing and holding the event! Thanks to you, Purim turned out truly magical and unforgettable. We look forward to seeing you at upcoming Volunteer Community events!
