Our volunteers joyfully celebrated the second anniversary of the club for active seniors. The festivities began with a wonderful cultural program. First, participants visited a photo exhibition by Vitaliy Blagov, who captured volunteers of the club in various creative projects. Afterwards, the guests enjoyed a raffle with guaranteed prizes, musical and dance performances, and, of course, heartfelt congratulations.

Vocal performances were given by Natalia Kuleshova, Alex Rakstri, and Tatiana Borshchevskikh. Choreographic pieces were presented by Inna Lyskovskaya and Natalia Mozhzherina. Later, volunteers of the project received letters of appreciation.

Projects for active seniors have existed in Hesed in various forms for a long time, but two years ago a reorganization took place, initiated by the club leader Maria Treskunova. That’s when new faces appeared in the club—people with creative ideas who prefer active longevity. At the same time, a new name was proposed—“Tzairim ba Lev”, which means “Youth of the Heart” in Hebrew.

This new wave brought more life to the club and expanded its range of interests. Today, volunteers put on musical-dramatic performances, prepare vocal and dance numbers, organize hikes in natural parks, excursions, visits to museums, concert halls, and theaters. This fills their lives with new experiences and inspiration. Recently, a puppet theater was opened within the club, and during the upcoming school holidays, children from the day camp will enjoy an exciting play! We congratulate the volunteers of the project and wish them a long and active social life!
