Tu BiShvat for the Whole Family

Volunteer events in Pavlodar brought together participants of all ages to celebrate Tu BiShvat

Tu BiShvat is a long-awaited holiday loved by both adults and children. It symbolizes the awakening of nature and promises abundance and new life. That is why the celebration of the New Year of the Trees is given special attention, with traditions carefully observed. This year, our center’s volunteers decided to make the celebration especially bright and memorable. They prepared an engaging and educational festive program for both children and adults.

The program included in-person activities as well as online meetings. Among the many interesting activities, adults especially enjoyed an unusual creative task: they were asked to write four lines about the holiday and create a drawing to accompany it. The participants successfully completed the challenge, demonstrating their creativity and artistic talents.

During the meeting with children from the youth and kids’ clubs Anakhnu and Tapuach, along with their parents, volunteers organized an educational game designed to help guests learn more about Tu BiShvat. Through play, participants explored the traditions, symbolism, and customs of the holiday. The children also learned traditional Tu BiShvat expressions and created a poster titled “Protect Nature.” It turned out to be an exciting and truly engaging introduction to the holiday.

We thank all our guests for their active participation, and our wonderful volunteers for organizing such a meaningful celebration for children and adults. Happy Holiday! Chag Sameach!
