Tu BiShvat Cards

For the Tu BiShvat holiday, volunteers created cards for the elderly.

As in the entire Jewish community, the Vitebsk community eagerly awaited the wonderful holiday of Tu BiShvat. This time, volunteers from the center prepared an unusual and memorable surprise for their wards, designed to remind them of the symbolism of the holiday and its significance for each of us.

Young volunteers crafted 50 wonderful cards with images of trees for the elderly clients of the center. Making handmade cards is a meticulous process that requires diligence and a creative approach. Joining forces, the volunteers created unique and vibrant cards using the technique of scrapbooking.

Scrapbooking involves using special paper and embellishments to create bright compositions, and our volunteers fully appreciated its possibilities. This technique allows unleashing one's imagination to the fullest and successfully implementing the intended design. As a result, each card turned out to be unique and original.

The cards were handed to the elderly members of our community, who joyfully accepted this symbolic gift. Now, each of them has their own tree, reminding them of the significant meaning of Tu BiShvat! Many thanks to the volunteers for their contribution to maintaining community traditions!
