The Lyricism of Poetry and Live Music

As part of the online project “Literary Lounge”, volunteers held a special event

As part of the “Literary Lounge” online project, the volunteers of our center hosted a creative evening dedicated to the difficult years of World War II. The event brought together over 100 listeners from across the region — Rybnitsa, Dubăsari, Grigoriopol, Bender, Dnestrovsk, and Tiraspol. Guests of the evening happily immersed themselves in an atmosphere of beautiful poetry and wonderful music.

The event was hosted by our volunteer Valery Kuperschmidt, who opened the evening by reading his own poems. He was later joined by fellow artists — well-known bards Vadim Baryshnikov and Sergey Fedchenko — who performed touching songs accompanied by guitar, telling stories of soldiers’ fates, courage, the pain of loss, and hope.

The audience truly enjoyed the evening. For several hours, they basked in a heartfelt atmosphere where joy intertwined with sorrow, filling their hearts with pride for those who endured the horrors of war. The warm words of the hosts, the lyricism of poetry, and the live music made this evening truly special, reviving the memory of our ancestors’ heroism.
