The "Bag to School" Campaign Comes to an End

The "Bag to School" campaign helps children from needy families in Chișinău and Ukrainian refugees prepare for the new school year.

From July 1st to August 17th, RVC volunteers were actively engaged in collecting school supplies. Many compassionate people contributed to this initiative, enabling the collection of the necessary materials for children in need of support.

On August 18th, 28 sets of school supplies were distributed to children from vulnerable families. A key part of the campaign was not only the distribution of gifts but also organizing activities for the children. RVC volunteers arranged various games aimed at fostering communication and making new friends, helping the children have fun and spend their time productively before the school year starts. After the games, each child received their gift—a set of school supplies, lovingly and thoughtfully assembled.

RVC extends sincere gratitude to JDC Moldova for their active participation and for providing school supplies for the children. However, the support doesn't end here: on August 30th, the second part of the campaign will take place, during which 20 backpacks with educational materials will be handed over by Maalex Bags and Papermax. These backpacks are intended for children from refugee families from Ukraine and other families in need who are involved in RVC projects.

The "Bag to School" campaign is not just about helping with school preparations; it's about offering support, attention, and care to children. We thank everyone who joined this initiative and hope that such events will become a cherished tradition, bringing joy and support to those who need it.
