Rosh Hashanah Greetings
The year 5786 began for the elderly residents of Shymkent with festive gift packages.
The holiday comes knocking on every door, bringing joy and the anticipation of a miracle. This year, Hesed volunteers took on the role of true magicians, bringing bright emotions to elderly clients. As part of a pre-holiday campaign dedicated to Rosh Hashanah, they delivered food packages to Hesed clients to fill their tables with traditional products and their hearts and souls with warmth and gratitude.
The volunteers prepared packages that included traditional holiday foods — apples, honey, dates, and round challahs baked in our kosher bakery at the Synagogue. On September 18, these delightful gifts were delivered to 10 of our clients, who joyfully welcomed the volunteers and expressed their gratitude for the care and attention. Along with the packages, they also received sincere wishes for health, good fortune, and a happy New Year!
A total of 4 volunteers and the head of our center took part in the event. We express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated and made the holiday truly joyful for our elderly clients! By sharing the warmth of your hearts, you make our world a better place and those around you happier. Shana Tova u-Metuka!
