On June 1st, JCC KEDEM hosted an exciting festive event for children and their parents, dedicated to two important occasions — the holiday of Shavuot and International Children's Day. The event gathered dozens of families, but of course, the children were at the heart of it. The program was rich and varied: guests had the opportunity to gain new knowledge, express their creativity, and have a lot of fun! Quiz & Ice Cream Shavuot was held in a warm, joyful, and family-friendly atmosphere.

The main highlight of the event was an interactive quiz dedicated to the traditions and meaning of Shavuot. The questions were adapted to the participants’ ages and allowed children to learn about the history, symbolism, and values of the holiday in a playful and engaging way. Parents were actively involved, answering questions alongside their children, discussing, and sharing their own knowledge.

During the creative workshop, children crafted Shavuot-themed artworks using paper, flowers, and other decorative materials. Beyond improving fine motor skills and feeling like true creators, the kids also gained valuable teamwork experience.

At the end of this vibrant and exciting day, a sweet treat awaited the guests. Children and their parents enjoyed delicious ice cream and other sweet surprises!
