Practical Conference of Good Deeds
On April 26, one of the key events of the month took place in Chișinău — the practical conference PSY PROF × KEDEM JCC.
As part of the international initiative Good Deeds Day 2026, the long-awaited practical conference PSY PROF × KEDEM JCC was held under the roof of KEDEM JCC. The event was organized on April 26 in support of the Republican Volunteer Center (RVC) and became a significant contribution by KEDEM JCC to the development of the project.
A total of 126 people registered to participate in the conference, and 102 attendees found their place in our welcoming halls. It is important to note that around 90% of the participants had previously not been familiar with the activities of the Volunteer Center. Guests attended a series of engaging practical trainings and meetings with psychologists focused on children, teenagers, parents, and adults. In addition, from April 21 to 25, the conference also included a week of online meetings for those who were unable to attend the offline events.
During the conference, each participant had the opportunity to better understand themselves, ask important questions, and receive psychological support from professionals on topics such as children’s behavior, teenage difficulties, anxiety, burnout, relationships, and personal growth. Several key thematic blocks could be highlighted in the program:

Additionally, volunteers organized a play area for children aged 4–7, where parents and families could also participate.
The speakers at the event were practicing psychologists and specialists working with various age and social groups. They aimed to ensure maximum involvement of participants while demonstrating sincere respect and interest toward everyone present. As a result, the specialists’ presentations turned into lively and engaging conversations where participants could find answers to all their questions.
The psychological conference became a demonstration of true unity and active cooperation between organizations within the Jewish cultural center, all united by shared values, mission, and a desire to develop the community through joint projects and initiatives.
We thank the organizers and participants of the conference and look forward to equally engaging events in the future!
