Volunteers of the “Tzairim baLev” Project Spruce Up the Flowerbed Near the Rimon Community Center
Volunteers of the Tzairim baLev project took care of the flowerbed near the Rimon Community Center. With plants suffering from the hot, dry weather, their efforts were especially timely. The initiative was led by volunteers Alexander Fisunov and Vladimir Rybakov.
Inspired by the wonderful idea of improving the flowerbeds around the Rimon Center, active seniors from the Tzairim baLev club got to work. They cleared the flowerbeds of debris and dry leaves, and then watered them generously so the plants could get the moisture they so badly needed.

Maria Treskunova, coordinator of the community project Tzairim baLev, noted:
“We are always glad to take part in ecological projects, because nature is our home. When you treat it with care, it responds in kind — giving us beauty and the precious oxygen that plants produce.”
Maria also added that environmental projects are not limited to the warm season.
This past winter, senior volunteers, together with schoolchildren, crafted and hung bird feeders near the community center as well as in the city’s parks and squares. In addition to regularly improving the area around Hesed, our active seniors also take part in the national ecological program Taza Kazakhstan.
We sincerely thank everyone who takes part in these volunteer initiatives!
