As part of the “Crafty Hands” project, an engaging workshop was held for senior community members, where, with the support of our volunteers, they learned how to transform plain wooden caskets into true works of art. For this, the well-known and time-honored technique of decoupage was used. Over the course of two sessions, participants not only became acquainted with the method but also created their own unique caskets.

Workshop participants received all the necessary materials and eagerly immersed themselves in the creative process. They joyfully exchanged ideas, gave each other advice, and helped at every stage. As a result, instead of ordinary, unremarkable caskets, beautiful, colorful creations came to life—items not only meant for storage, but also capable of decorating any interior.

Everyone present was filled with positive emotions and proudly showcased their caskets. As we know, creative inspiration is a powerful driving force for any achievement, which makes events like this truly invaluable. We thank the volunteers for the wonderful workshop and the participants for their enthusiasm and dedication!
