On December 3, at the Tekwill center, the Republican Volunteer Center (RVC) held an award ceremony where 55 active volunteers from various Moldovan cities were recognized in 10 categories.
This event became a true celebration for everyone who dedicates their time and energy to help those in need. Various awards were presented, acknowledging the importance and diversity of volunteering: Partner of the Year, Worker of the Year, Project of the Year, Breakthrough of the Year, Volunteerism Without Borders, Good in Communication, Leaders of the Digital World, Heroes of Little Hearts, Professional Logistician, and Generational Connection.
This year, the winners were awarded by three hosts — Nikita Perunov, the head of the Haverim youth platform, and RVC coordinators Ekaterina Labunets and Nikita Katernyuk.
Among the 270 guests at the ceremony were representatives of 13 partner organizations and companies actively participating in RVC projects and actions throughout 2023: the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, the National Youth Agency, JDC MOLDOVA, Orhei Vit, Alvia Group, Librarius, Maalex Bags, Regia Transport Electric, the National Museum of the History of Moldova, Tidbit, the Jewish Community of the Republic of Moldova, the Jewish Library named after Manger, and the Charitable Jewish Center HESED Yehuda. This ceremony became a celebration of gratitude and selflessness, showcasing how volunteerism plays a key role in shaping a bright future for all of us.
