New Connections and Partnerships

On May 25, the Volunteer Center "Volunteer Community" met with the charitable foundation "Омiр сыйла"

On May 25, as part of the “JAM” and “Ishaut” projects, 16 volunteers from Volunteer Community met with colleagues from the Kazakh charitable foundation Омiр сыйла. The meeting aimed to get to know each other and their organizations better, share experiences, and discuss future collaboration. The conversation also touched on the core values of each organization, their focus areas, and main projects.

Representatives of Volunteer Community shared about Jewish volunteer initiatives, projects supporting lonely elderly people, people with disabilities, children with CI, and large families, as well as their holiday programs and charity events. The volunteers from Омiр сыйла talked about their experience supporting women with breast cancer and their work in medical education. Past and planned activities were discussed, including volunteer campaigns, educational meetings, outreach, and holiday events.

Additionally, participants talked about ways organizations can support each other through social media, cross-promotion, media contact exchange, and joint informational campaigns. To increase the effectiveness of support, they proposed creating a shared event calendar and running joint media campaigns.

We thank everyone who participated in this event! We are confident that the results of this meeting will help expand the reach of assistance to those in need and make it even more effective!
