Mission of Kindness
The first training session of the "Volunteer Patronage" project took place.
On March 9, our center was filled with an especially warm and welcoming atmosphere. On this day, 20 people of all ages—teenagers, their parents, and seniors—gathered for the first training session, "Mission of Kindness," as part of the "Volunteer Patronage" project.
The event began with the project coordinator introducing its mission and goals. Then, the participants immersed themselves in engaging activities designed to bring people together and create a sense of a close-knit family. It turned out that youth and seniors share many common interests, such as a love for cats, books, or traveling. Feeling the support and friendliness of the group, even the shyest participants opened up and joined the creative process.

The second part of the training, "Acts of Kindness – Here and Now," focused on practical exercises. In the "Kindness Bingo" game, each participant received a small task: give a compliment, help a neighbor, or share kind words. Often, we overlook such "little things," but they are incredibly important, helping to uplift others and provide support in difficult moments.
During the main discussion, "How Can We Be Helpful? Talking, Thinking, Deciding," participants explored different ways to contribute. Teenagers suggested helping with digital literacy, parents considered joining volunteer initiatives, and seniors highlighted the importance of phone calls and simple human interaction. Each person found their own unique way to spread kindness.
At the end of the training, those interested signed up for participation, exchanged contacts, and continued warm conversations over a cup of aromatic tea.
A huge thank you to the organizers and participants for their enthusiasm and dedication to making the world a better place!
