Master-class for volunteers of the "Origins of Mercy" project
In May, a seminar and an incentive master class were held for volunteers who are actively working with the elderly
It was a real immersion in the world of volunteering, which helped the volunteers to structure their knowledge, understand the creation and organization of social projects, and learn how to work in a team.
The main goal of the seminar was to train volunteers in various aspects of the work of social projects and the process of their creation. Deeply immersed in the basics of volunteering, the participants acquired valuable skills in building their own teams. The event helped them understand how to determine the relevance of the project and manage it effectively at different stages. It turned out that each project has its own life cycle, and the Volunteer Center can be compared to a living organism that is constantly in motion.
Particular attention was paid to the young direction of volunteer assistance - Foodsharing. The participants discussed how this direction could become extremely relevant for the Volunteer Center, especially in the context of the Healthy Vitamin Box project, which brings great benefits to the elderly. They discussed ideas, ways to develop it even further, and opportunities to attract new volunteers for its implementation.
The seminar became a new stage of development for all participants of the Volunteer Center. They acquired new knowledge, improved their skills and were inspired to develop their volunteer work. The event was a real growth spurt and brought a lot of new ideas to their activities.
A few days after the seminar, a team of the most active and creative volunteers gathered for an unforgettable team building in the courtyard of the National Museum of the History of Moldova.
As part of the meeting, talented artist Maria Sklyarenko held a master class on painting with acrylics. She shared her knowledge and experience, inspiring the participants to create independently. During the master class, Maria showed an example of her painting, conveying her passion and love for art.
This meeting not only allowed the participants to have a fun and enjoyable time, but also brought them an unforgettable experience. Volunteers had the opportunity to diversify their daily experience, as well as be inspired by art and creativity, while being in the museum's authentic courtyard.
At the end of the master class, everyone went home with someething to remember and a beautiful picture made by their own hands.
