Kind-Hearted February
Volunteering as a Cherished Tradition in Our Jewish Center
This February was particularly rich in good deeds! Our young volunteers kicked off the month by celebrating Tu BiShvat with our community members. As part of the "Second Hands" program, which collects essential items for those in need, the Mikhailenko family from a suburb of Pavlodar—a family with five children—received warm clothing for their little ones.

Additionally, during our traditional Shabbat gatherings, volunteer Larisa Shapovalova baked delicious challah, which was personally delivered to 15 recipients by our dedicated young volunteers. February birthday celebrants were also honored with heartfelt congratulations, alongside greetings for Jewish holidays and words of support and encouragement—small gestures that make a big difference. Our volunteers also regularly call their assigned community members to check in on their needs and simply to share warm conversations.

For many, volunteering is a way to learn and discover new sides of themselves. Helping others strengthens confidence and proves that each of us has the power to change the world for the better! If kindness and compassion burn in your heart, and you cannot turn away from someone in need, we warmly invite you to join our big and welcoming volunteer family!
