Jewish Community - Part of the General Celebration!
On July 3, our community welcomed old and new friends at the Jewish corner!
On July 3, during the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, the Jewish community took part in organizing and conducting festive events, thus becoming a part of the big celebration. We awaited old and new friends in our bright tent!
The event was attended by volunteers along with the Union of Belarusian Jewish Public Associations and Communities, the Emuna Jewish Cultural Center, the AJT youth club, and the Museum of History and Culture of Jews of Belarus.
We were happy to welcome everyone who visited our large tent, as we wanted to share about ourselves with as many people as possible. The main goal we set for the period of the festive events was to popularize the community, inform citizens about the activities of the organizations under the MEOD roof, and attract interested individuals and volunteers.
To this end, special informational brochures about the activities of the ECO "Emuna" were prepared. For the little ones, we organized interesting master classes, and for teenagers, we talked about the AJT club. Stories from the museum representatives about the contribution of Belarusian Jews to the victory over fascism generated great interest among our visitors.
It was a very eventful day that brought us new visitors and new acquaintances! We are confident that we met many like-minded individuals who will soon become part of our large and friendly family!
