Boris Leibovich's roots go back to Kyiv, and fate brought him to Izhevsk in the 1940s, when the country was going through evacuation. Having overcome all difficulties, he successfully graduated from the Izhevsk Mechanical Institute and found his calling at the Mechanical Plant. M.I. Kalinina in Sverdlovsk.

The talented and hard-working Boris Leibovich successfully worked at the plant and devotedly worked at the same place for 37 years, becoming the head of the computer center of the Izhmash plant. His career path and adherence to principles made a significant contribution to the development of the enterprise.

However, in addition to his professional achievements, Boris Leibovich always found time for the development of the Jewish community of Izhevsk from its very foundation. His devotion and kindness gathered like-minded people around him, and together they built a warm and supportive community home for all comers.
