This year, Hanukkah 5785 celebrations coincided with the end of the calendar year, providing the Bryansk center with an excellent opportunity to explore new horizons and summarize volunteer achievements through several wonderful events: “Hanukkah Mood” and “Volunteer of the Year.”

On December 21, a Pre-Hanukkah Volunteer Fair introduced a new event format. Its target audience was low-income families, for whom our young volunteers created various activities related to the history and traditions of Hanukkah.

On December 25, the “Hanukkah Mood” party took place, organized in an Eastern style. It served as a gathering for silver and golden-age volunteers. Attendees exchanged personal experiences and, of course, enjoyed a festive time among like-minded individuals. Their achievements were recognized with memorable gifts and certificates.

On December 29, the “Volunteer of the Year” festival for young and family volunteers was held at Hesed. The ceremony celebrated the accomplishments of active participants in the volunteer movement, who received gifts and certificates.
