Handmade Masterclass “Skillful Hands”
A creative meeting that brought joy and inspiration to our elderly beneficiaries
Volunteers of our center always strive to delight elderly beneficiaries with engaging activities that inspire them and fill their lives with bright colors. This time, an exciting masterclass was organized as part of the project, where participants learned the art of decoupage. It is a simple yet impressive technique that allows ordinary objects to be transformed into unique and original creations.
Under the guidance of volunteer Oksana Nulman, eight elderly participants discovered new sides of their creativity and felt like true artists. They carefully cut out beautiful paper images, transferred them onto different surfaces, and finished their work with a layer of varnish. The results exceeded even the boldest expectations! It turns out that to create a work of art, you don’t have to be a professional artist — it is enough to keep creativity alive in your heart.
After the masterclass, guests eagerly shared their impressions. For many, this activity has already become a new hobby, and we are sure we will admire many more wonderful handmade masterpieces in the future. We sincerely thank our volunteers for their care, attention, and dedication to making the lives of our elderly beneficiaries more interesting and joyful!
