For the development of local volunteering in the Republic, it is crucial to share experiences and draw inspiration from achievements of colleagues worldwide. Today's story is exactly about that.

From July 1st to 4th, in sunny Porto, Portugal, the regional conference "Good Deeds Day Europe 2024" took place. This event brought together leaders of the movement from different European countries who shared knowledge, successes, and new ideas in the field of volunteering and social activism. The conference served as a platform for exchanging experiences, establishing new contacts, and strengthening existing connections among organizations striving to make the world a better place.

For four days, participants engaged in fascinating and informative presentations on various topics. Strategies for finding partners, methods for increasing the number of volunteers, and ways to create effective and sustainable volunteer networks were discussed. Special attention was given to engaging youth in volunteering and using social media to promote projects.

Representatives from Moldova, Nikolay Raylyan and Nikita Perunov, delivered two important presentations: "Building a Network and Building a Campaign on Social Media" and "Building the Sustainable Network in Your Country". They thoroughly explored key aspects of creating and maintaining volunteer networks, as well as successfully conducting campaigns on social media. Their presentations sparked lively interest and became a source of inspiration for many conference participants.

One of the most memorable and useful sessions was a meeting with representatives of various NGOs who shared their engaging and successful projects. The success stories presented at this session demonstrated a wide range of opportunities for implementing social initiatives and inspired many to achieve new heights.

Representatives from RVC were pleased to highlight numerous new ideas and approaches that they plan to implement in our country. RVC has been an official partner of Good Deeds Day for nine years, and we are proud to announce that next year we will host the tenth anniversary of Good Deeds Day Moldova.

This conference was a significant milestone in the development of our movement, and we are grateful for the opportunity to participate in such a meaningful event. Ahead of us lies a lot of interesting work, and we are confident that through joint efforts, we can make our world better and kinder!
