First delivery of “Healthy Food Basket”

Spring is a time of renewal, when our body especially needs support and vitamins.

On April 26, as part of the International Day of Good Deeds, our center launched a new stage of the “Healthy Food Basket” project aimed at providing immobile and lonely elderly people with high-quality and natural food products. For this purpose, it was decided to organize large-scale home deliveries to our beneficiaries.

For the delivery, we formed 100 food packages containing everything necessary to replenish vitamins and essential nutrients. They included natural juices and jams, fresh microgreens, Lollo Rosso lettuce, and aromatic mint tea. A special surprise was homemade noodles with healthy additions of pumpkin and spinach, as well as farm-made sauces ranging from classic pesto and hummus to spicy adjika. When selecting each product, we tried to enrich the diet, making it not only healthy but also tasty.

Of course, we would not have been able to organize such a large-scale campaign without the help of our wonderful partners. We express sincere gratitude to the companies Papas Greens, Orhei Vit, City Farm, Domn Moraru, Verde Go, and Paste Cuca for the provided products and support. Together we were able to do an important good deed—give care and attention to elderly and lonely members of our community, who, more than anyone, need attention and help. Our campaign became another proof that together we are capable of real miracles, not giving in to difficulties and achieving what we set out to do!

We thank everyone who took part in the volunteer action and look forward to new similar events!
