Elul and the Year’s Goals
Teenagers created festive cards and sweet treats for the elderly as part of the “Holiday in Every Home” program.
The start of the new year at the AJT-Hohmachi club was marked by an engaging and informative meeting, “Elul and the Year’s Goals,” attended by 14 teenagers. The main theme of the meeting was setting the club’s goals for the year, planning activities, and defining each participant’s personal contribution.
Much of the discussion focused on volunteering and good deeds—how each of us can contribute to a larger common cause. The teens talked about the importance of being part of a community, how small actions can bring great joy, and that volunteering is not an obligation but a way to show love and respect.
During the creative workshop “Shana Tova,” the teenagers made festive cards and prepared sweet treats for the elderly participants of the “Holiday in Every Home” program. We are confident that the project’s beneficiaries experienced great joy receiving gifts from the younger generation.
The teen madrichim also defined their areas of work for the coming year:

The “Elul and the Year’s Goals” meeting proved highly productive, allowing participants to plan the club’s activities and define their personal roles. We look forward to seeing the creative and meaningful initiatives proposed by our young community members come to life!
