Our center recently held a chair restoration workshop for volunteers who enjoy turning old items into new ones! Besides the aesthetic aspect, they were driven by practical considerations. The skills learned in the workshop can be used to restore furniture for elderly community members who find themselves in difficult situations.

Under the guidance of a master craftsman, volunteers replaced the old, faded upholstery on chairs with new, vibrant fabric, transforming this piece of furniture into a true interior decoration. Of course, not everything worked out perfectly the first time, but the volunteers were determined and soon presented the audience with freshly restored chairs!

Throughout the workshop, a friendly atmosphere prevailed, filled with cheerful smiles and laughter. The result of their joint effort exceeded all expectations, and now we have big plans for our volunteers! With their help, we plan to restore old furniture for our elderly beneficiaries to make their lives more comfortable and enjoyable!
