Birthday Celebration on Lag BaOmer

This year, members of the “Tsairim Ba Lev” Socialization Club were in for a pleasant surprise. Senior volunteers organized a wonderful bright celebration for them, filled with dancing, songs, and joy. It was especially symbolic that the birthday of the club itself and the holiday of Lag BaOmer fell on the same date.

Several volunteers took part in organizing and conducting the event, making every effort to ensure the celebration was a success. Irina Urbanovich and Alexander Fisunov hosted active games and an engaging quiz for the 60 club members gathered at the Hesed about the history of the Club and Jewish traditions. The prizes for the quiz were provided by Galina Rychkova and Marina Sukhomazova.

Natalia Kuleshova and Alex Rakstri performed songs from the guests’ youth, inviting everyone present to sing along, while the “Tsairim” dance ensemble, led by volunteers Anastasia Zhiltsova (choreographer), Inna Lyskovskaya (ensemble leader), and Natalia Mozzherina (physical training coach), performed the dances “Freylekhs” and “7:40.”

The celebration turned out to be incredibly bright and joyful. Guests received a huge amount of positive emotions, immersing themselves in the world of music and creativity. At the end of the event, Hesed Director Inessa Chugainova and Head of the “Magen HaTov” Volunteer Center Maria Treskunova presented diplomas and awards to the most active volunteers among the club members, recognizing their important role in building the Community.

An equally pleasant part of the celebration was the friendly tea party, when everyone gathered around one table decorated with delicious cakes created by volunteer cooks Galina Arepyeva and Olga Babenko. Guests were able to enjoy fireworks, while the most energetic participants danced at the disco! It is safe to say that the volunteers’ surprise was a complete success, and our guests were filled with positivity and good spirits for a long time to come!
