Assistance in the "Caring Connection" Project
Volunteers deliver phones to elderly members of the community and explain how to use them.
Our young volunteers are now tech-savvy friends in the "Caring Connection" project, and they continue to do important work. The project is implemented by the VBOO "Chesed David."
Volunteers delivered phones and explained how to use them. These phones have unique programs and applications designed to make it convenient for elderly Chesed clients to become active users. This helps the elderly overcome loneliness, even if only to a small extent.
This initiative is essential so that the elderly can participate, even online, in community and Chesed events, as well as maintain communication with their families and loved ones. Technology and modern communication tools become a reliable bridge between generations, allowing all community members to stay informed and feel closer to one another.
Thanks to these efforts, the elderly not only gain new opportunities for communication and participation but also feel that they are not forgotten, that their wisdom and experience are valued and passed on. This is the caring connection that makes our community stronger and more united.
