A Fairytale in Every Movement

The theatrical project of the "Tzairim ba Lev" club for active seniors brought joy to children through a charming puppet show.

The acting studio of our community presented a wonderful puppet performance “Grandma the Pirate” to its young audience. The event took place within the framework of the children’s day camp, and the creators of the show were our volunteers — energetic and creative retirees. The artistic director and author of the play was Alexander Fisunov, the stage director — Natalia Kuleshova, the puppet designer — Larisa Kharitonova, and the sound engineer — Alex Rakstri.

The magical characters were voiced by Svetlana Tsoy, Irina Urbanovich, and Alexander Fisunov, while their movements were brought to life by Marina Vasilieva, Galina Arepyeva, Galina Murgaeva, Irina Urbanovich, and Alexander Fisunov.

This funny and touching story, full of humor, was warmly received by the children. They followed the plot with great enthusiasm, rooting for the characters and empathizing with them. Thanks to the unique work of our theatrical studio, Grandma the Pirate and her adventures left no one indifferent. Our volunteers showcased true acting talent, both in voicing the characters and skillfully animating them on stage. They succeeded in conveying the distinct personalities of each puppet, bringing them to life with heart and creativity.

The special atmosphere was enhanced by the musical accompaniment of Alex Rakstri, which highlighted the mood of each scene, added dynamics, and made the show even more memorable. The young audience especially appreciated the colorful and original costumes of the puppets. Even after the performance ended, the children were in no hurry to leave — they eagerly shared their impressions and discussed their favorite characters.

The “Grandma the Pirate” puppet show became a true celebration for the children in the camp, giving them unforgettable emotions. The “Tzairim ba Lev” club’s theatrical project once again proved that a fairytale lives in every movement, in every puppet, and in every heart.
